Rules and Information

Hey everyone! Your friendly neighborhood DM here, laying down some basic stuff for our eventual dive into the world of Dungeons and Dragons!
First off it should be noted, the formatting of the roleplay doesn't matter to me. You can do big ol' paragraph posts like me or you can do short bit that just quickly say what you're doing (I.E. ~glomps u~ or *punches that dude right in the ballsack*, you get the point). Hell use goddamn smilies for all I care I just wanna have fun
We'll be running Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition (AKA D&D 5e, or just 5e). All of the basic rules of play can be found here http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/basicrules, but for a more extensive look at the rules (including all the rest of the classes in 5e) you can refer to the Player's Handbook, which can be downloaded here https://dnd.rem.uz/5e%20D%26D%20Books/.
Characters custom made will use the Standard Array for stats, which is 16, 14, 13, 12, 10, 8. Players who choose not to make their own characters can use one of the pregenerated characters from the WotC website at level 1 http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/features/character_sheets, or ask me to help make them a character sheet based on their preferences. We will be using DM Royale for ALL D&D 5e character sheets. http://dmroyale.com/index.php I'll be giving out campaign codes on the relevant post for the campaign.
We may be using maps to help give a visual of scenarios, though at the moment I do not have a system of how I want to do this. I will update the post when I've decided. Edit: It's May 18th. I still haven't decided how to do maps yet. Consider that idea nixed unless wanted by popular demand.
For rolls, we'll be using rolz.org's system in our own room, located here. https://rolz.org/dr?room=The%20Whoa%20Zone It has an integration with forums that I'm working on getting set up, but for now the room works fine for dice rolls.
Oh yeah, we're all adults here, so feel free to get NSFW with this shit. Swearing, sex, blood and vore, all that's all good here.
